La bonne cuisine in Bad Pyrmont

The food was very tasty, but the price-performance ratio wasn't right. To pay 50 € for 2 fish soups is heavy. The service is a bit chaotic. The young waiter who spills the soup, the head waiter who gives instructions to his staff in front of the guest. That will not do! We paid a total of € 83 for 2 soups, 2 glasses of wine, 1 dessert. For that I can already eat out in the star kitchen.

Wine is not in the wine cabinet! The bouquet is then not recognizable! For so much money we expect that you know how to store red wine! The fillet steak should not be fried and we hadn't been asked what we wanted! Overall, we had to wait a long time! The prices are juicy enough! That's why we ended up in our room unsatisfied!

Partly unfriendly, incompetent service. Food exchanged, components forgotten. On friendly demands only flaky answers. About the taste, I can not say much, because I could not enjoy the food from sheer anger. And in a 5 star hotel.

The tarte flambée, each on two different days tasted, were fantastic and culinary the best, what I ate in Bad Pyrmont.

You were asked to go to the bar to wait for the table that was not yet set, but the bartender couldn't really give you a few typical recommendations. When you arrive at dinner, a completely unrefrigerated wine is brought to you and poured directly into it. No tasting and the obligatory question of whether it is right. After this first disenchantment, the climax. The additionally ordered salad for the main menu was wrongly brought to the next table. But no problem for the competent waiter from the world. The neighbor guest was simply asked whether he had already eaten from it and after no comment was placed on our table without comment. A farce for every good restaurant. My conclusion: For prices of around 45 - 50 p.p. and such a great and historical ambience, the service should be significantly improved.
